Mbuna are the smallest of the 3 main groups of Lake Malawi cichlids, most types growing to about 4-5 inches. Mbuna have lots of personality and very vibrant color.
Peacock Cichlids are known for their beautiful color varieties and patterns. Most Peacocks will grow to a max size of 6 inches.
Haps are notorious for their size and varying shapes. Hap cichlids (Haplochromis), can grow anywhere from 7-12 inches, depending on the species.
